Massage at this time of year comes in handy

I also do some work helping people with hand injuries gain and maintain mobility.  This can be especially important at this time of year when the days grow colder and our muscles tense with the drop in temperature.

I've found some superb diagrams on the From the Tiger's Mouth blog that show the muscles, tendons and ligaments I am working on:

Life is too short to be anything but happy

I've just seen this on google+ and like it.  I can't say fairer than that:

There comes a time in life when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. Surround yourself with people who make you laugh, forget the bad, focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right. Pray for the ones that don't. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of life, getting back up is living.

Carpel Tunnel Massage

I gave one of my friends a hand massage yesterday.  She's been suffering from carpel tunnel syndrome.  I massaged the front and back of her hand and up her forearm.  This morning I found this video.  From 4:25min onwards it covers some techniques to use for losening the muscles around the nerve in the forearm to ease the numbness.

I found this helpful.  I hope you do too.
